Tomato Festival!

Join the tomato tasting:
Bring tomatoes for tasting or just try some different varieties.
Enter one of our contests:
Bring in your biggest, smallest, ugliest, or best-dressed tomato for great prizes. Open to all ages.
Learn to Save Tomato Seeds:
We'll have a couple of tomato seed saving demos during the event.
And more:
We'll have food, fun, art, and more!
The Schedule:
11:30am—tomato entries must be submitted
12:00pm—Seed saving demo
12:30-2pm—Seed tasting/voting
1:30pm—Seed saving demo
2pm—Judging begins
2:30pm—Award ceremony
Kids! The Creamery Arts Center is having a contest open to all students ages K-8. Paint or draw your favorite tomato, veggie or garden scene and bring it to the Creamery by Sept. 12th. The artwork will be on display at the Tomato Festival. There will be a People's Choice Award and the winner will receive a cool prize. Call 872-4848 for more information.
